Dr. Amanda Fink is the best eye doctor. I’ve a patient of her and her dad for over thirty years. Last December I had to cancel my appointment due to an emergency and when I called back to schedule a new appointment I was given a hard time and whoever answered the phone after a long hold time was very rude and obnoxious. I think some customer service training is very much needed to all who answer the phones and they need to be more respectful of people

Gregory H Scimeca, M.D, surgically removed cataracts from my eyes in December 2025 and inserted Clareon PanOptix Intraocular Lens (IOL) implants. The results for me have been amazing. I now have perfect, exceptional vision and can see from near to far distances without needing to wear prescription eyeglasses. The colors I see are also more vibrant, intense, and enhanced. I highly recommend these lenses to anyone needing cataract surgery and wishing to significantly improve their vision. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. None of this would have been possible without Dr. Scimeca and his staff. Scheduling was prompt, there was ample parking, and waiting time was short. Before finding Burlington Eye Physicians, my partner was having a very difficult time finding the right help in NJ for a rare eye condition. The doctor at Burlington County Eye Physicians immediately recognized the diagnosis and gave us helpful recommendations to highly acclaimed specialist groups, leaving an impression of professionalism and competence that eased our worries.

But we especially want to give the highest praise and most heartfelt thanks to Jennifer, the practice manager, for her unbelievable depth of knowledge and compassion in all areas that affect patients, adept navigation of the health care systems that was creating obstacles for us, passionate and diligent advocacy on our behalf that broke through an impasse for us with our previous ophthalmology office, and expert recommendation of a particular specialist from one of the groups our doctor provided- even knowing offhand which insurances they take (she was also kind to double check this on our behalf).

She kept contact with updates for us as she advocated for our rights with the practice and systems that held us back, and she succeeded in a day what my partner and I could not accomplish in months. Reading the other reviews that similarly praise her, it's clear that this is, at her core, the person and professional who she is.

I wouldn't go to any other ophthalmologist in the area, and if you're reading this and still questioning your choice in ophthalmology practice, you have no need to look further.

Very professional practice. The price is the price with no hidden additional costs. A friend of mine went somewhere else and got quoted a price. After the fact they sent her three $500 bills for hidden costs. This does NOT happen here.

I researched eye physicians because a family member needed a new doctor and suffers panic attacks. As his advocate, I made the appointment and explained his history to the staff. At the visit, every staff person was knowledgeable, pleasant and caring. The doctor was accommodating and thorough. The practice takes the time needed to evaluate each patient. Afterward, the optical technician was patient, knowledgeable and very pleasant. Since that time, I have had a need to take my family member to Will's Eye for a second opinion. Although there is likely nothing that can be done for this one eye and his condition, the office understood the desire to obtain a second opinion. JENNIFER, the administrator, took exceptional care and concern with me as his advocate. She expedited a referral, discussed concerns, and went ABOVE and BEYOND to explain Sharecare to Will's Eye, a program that would seamlessly allow shared ophthalmological information about my family member with ease. As a medical assistant and practice manager having 30 years' experience myself, I was sincerely impressed with JENNIFER's concern, knowledge, consideration, and obvious love for her position and career in Ophthalmological Services. I hope that this review reaches Dr. Scimeca, as he should certainly be made aware of JENNIFER'S and the entire staff's exceptional demeanor, administration and care! Not being able to see is scary and adds to the fears involved when living through threatening situations. My eyes were -8.75. I had heard Dr. Scimeca worked on the eyes of many athletes, I wanted to see like them, so I went for a consultation.

Having a thinner cornea than most and being unelegible for lasik. Dr. Scimeca suggested PRK surgery. He was professional, honest and sincere. I could tell he knew what he was doing.

I went through with the surgery, and I thank God I did! Because after a month, my vision is now 20/25 and still showing improvement.

I had recently left my eye doctors office who I have been going to for over 25 years due to unprofessionalism & lack of being informed of a recent eye injury.
I chose Burlington County Eye Physicians as my new eye doctors.
My first appointment was yesterday. Location is great; it is only 3 minutes away from my home!
Quite a few patients were waiting in the waiting room when I arrived. When I told one of the Receptionists that I'm here for an appointment I only had to wait a few minutes before I was asked to go back to the desk to give my information. The young lady behind the counter was very pleasant. The second young lady who took me to the back was very pleasant also. The other young lady who assisted was also pleasant, kind & friendly!!!! I was very happy & satisfied immediately after THREE workers had treated me with such kindness & professionalism!
I was asked about my health & took the eye exam test then the tech put the eye drops in my eyes. I had to wait until my eyes were dilated before I saw my new Eye Doctor; Dr. Rya Patel. Very very nice, kind, exceptionally professional, qualified and great bedside manner! Dr. Patel thoroughly explained to me everything she had discovered after doing my eye exam. She cared. She made me feel at ease, comfortable & welcomed me as her new patient. I have another appointment scheduled in March for contacts & eye glasses.

This place is bustling but the staff are great at shepherding us through the process in a friendly and efficient manner. The doctor is nothing short of a magician. I had very ripe cataracts in both eyes, yet had no idea how much vision I had lost until Dr. Scimeca operated. Now I see how vibrant colors are, and even individual leaves on trees! After a bit of discomfort the day of surgery, every day following has been free of symptoms and filled with wonder. I now see 20/20 in both eyes! I cannot recommend Dr. Scimeca and the Surgery Center strongly enough. You absolutely can trust them with your sight.

I was very frustrated with your Barrington’s location to the point that I was making reviews and calling to complain and nothing seemed as though it was being taken seriously until Jennifer stepped on the scene. Have been here a few times. My latest experience was quite great. I typically have to pay a few hundred dollars out of pocket due to my eye condition. But Nina, took great care of me and even got my insurance Company to pay for the entire bill considering I always have to pay. Great service . Doctor was great. Will return!

Super hard to get in during covid and honestly I was surprised by how empty it was when I finally got inside I think they could stand to book a little bit more people they have enough open space to fit more instead of making people wait months. Other than that the staff is friendly and you can get your glasses here after you get your script so I guess it is more convenient to come here.

Great place to have your eyes examined and assessed. If there is a problem or some irregularities with your eyes, the visual examinations will reveal the cause to the ophthalmologist who will then recommend a course of treatment to fix the situation. Staff were very knowledgeable and professional and answered all my concerns regarding the health of my eyes. There is an optical store on the premise where your prescription for new eyeglasses can be filled.

The doctor finally realized that the lens in my eye was unstable. Therefore he decided to replace it. He had shown the lens in place in the hopes that it would stay in peace. I pray that the new lens will stop all of the troubles.

Dr Simeco removed my cataracts and my wife’s as well. We have spectacularly improved vision and no longer require glasses! The Doctor at the same time improved my glaucoma and the combined savings for eye drops and glasses total more than three thousand dollars a year.
I would like to add that my wife and I reside in Rehoboth De. and make a five hour round trip to see Dr. Scimeca, his skill and care he shows is well worth patronizing him!
